After nearly a decade of remodeling homes  on Madison's isthmus (and surrounding areas) and over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mick established Tilda Construction in 2020.

After nearly a decade of remodeling homes  on Madison's isthmus (and surrounding areas) and over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mick established Tilda Construction in 2020.  

Mick holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from the University of Newcastle in Australia but  earned his degree after serving for 15 years as a carpenter.  

Mick worked in commercial and residential construction in Sydney, Australia for over a decade and owned and operated his own construction business. 

He relocated to Madison, Wisconsin in 2010 and has worked as both a carpenter and as a project manager since then.   

What does Tilda mean?  Tilda is short for Matilda from the folksong Waltzing Matilda which is often referred to as Australia's unofficial national anthem.
